La Bourdonnerie
This semi-sweet wine is vinified in steel tanks, and gives away all of the Chenin Blanc grape’s essence, with lots of white and yellow fruit notes. Harvested on the singlevineyard bearing the same name: “La Bourdonnerie”.

Vinification : in stailess steel tanks, for 6 months.
Residual sugar : between 20 and 25 g/L depending on the vintage.
Tasting notes
- Type : Semi-sweet Vouvray
- Grape variety : Chenin blanc
- Robe : Nice straw yellow with intense golden hues. Intense and shiny.
- Nose : First nose reveals a soft spice scents with cloves and black pepper, and intense notes of honey and rapeseed. The subtil aromatic evolves from fruity to a complex vegetal (coriander).
- Palate : Wide, voluptuous, jammed white fruit and candied citrus fruit. Elegant and fresh finale, evoking aniseed flavoured herbal tea.

Try bold pairings with this demi-sec and pair it your most delicious fish and white meats, soft spices dishes, Asian cuisine, but also charcuterie and cheese boards.

Roasted Tirbot, meat juice and sautéed potatoes. Roasted Langoustine tail, herbs and cumin infusion.

Best served between 6 and 8°C
Ageing potential : 50 years and more.
