La Coulée d'Or - Production
This “late harvest” wine comes from selected and hand-harvested grapes, from the best terroirs of our vineyard. It is only produced when all parameters are gathered, during exceptionnal years. With more than 80% of passerillage and/or Botrytis grapes, it is then vinified and aged in oak barrels.

Tasting notes
- Type : Sweet
- Grape variety : Chenin blanc
- Color : Golden yellow, golden hues. Darker with evolution (2009 is amber colored). Profound and intense, syrupy.
- Nose : Wonderful ensemble of puréed fruit, quince, apple, exotic fruit like pineapple or roasted banana, depending on the vintage and ageing. Dense aromatic, notes of salted caramel and soft spices.
- Palate : Concentrated, smooth, like an exotic fruit marmelad and caramelised orange zests. Great acidity on the finish notes, giving an incredible balance to this wine.
